I have searched and searched and keep getting mixed information. I have read many forums but cannot get one clear answer. I have a xbox 360 with the first version lite on drive 74850c that has never been modded or flashed in any way. I just want to put my flashed hitachi drive in it. I would REALLY appreciate any help as I said I have searched for hours but never got clear info. Thank you for your help.

I'm assuming that you are aware that the drives can't just be swapped and function properly.

Each 360 has a specific dvd drive key.

So in order to have your flashed hitachi work with this system you would need to dump the key and inquiry info from the liteon drive and then flash the key and spoof the hitachi drive to work in the liteon 360.

If you have the ability to do this then you would be better off just flashing the liteon unless you have reasons not to flash it and keep it stock.

If you don't have the ability then yo can find a modder in your area to help out.
