hello all,

I have a new XBOX 360 "pro", through the internet I found that XBOX consoles have a very high rate of failure (more than 50%), can anyone advise if this rate is correct and how to avoid it, and what are the common failure may occure, or microsoft just fixed it up, I am afraid of loosing my X360

thanks for your help

High failure rate? Back in the day, yeah. Now? Not so much. And the new Xbox 360 Slim is supposed to be even better than the current units.

You can check the manufacturing date above the serial number on the back of the xbox. You shouldn't worry so much if it was made after 2007.

I have another problem, but do not what to do, when I burn new games from 2009 or 2010 like assassin creed 2 and POP the forgotten sands, they do not work
the xbox just hang there with an xbox 360 logo, and no response, but any other games they just work fine like GOW2 and POP (2008), can you please help with that
