can anyone tell me how remove unwanted games from the list of played games?

You can only delete played games that have no achievements earned.

Press the Xbox 360 guide button (big 'X' button on middle of controller, the one that lights up), navigate left to the games section and choose Achievements. From here choose the game with zero gamerscore you want to remove and press X (Delete Game History.)

BTW how's NFS:Shift? I'm thinking about picking it up myself.

should be able to delete them from the dash. just go to the 'my xbox' tab thing, and go all the way over to the right to system, then to memory. you should be able to select a game and delete it all from there i think.
