Ok i was a fool and forgot how much MS are assholes. I didnt read the fine print before purchasing the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit where it says you cant transfer files from a big hard drive to a smaller hard drive, please tell me there is a way around this other than spending more money on a memory unit. Also please dont haze me if this has been covered already, i did a few quick searches, but i didnt find anything, and my buddy (whos hard drive im using) is moving away tomorrow morning so time is a big issue

You need to get Xplorer 360. I'm sure there are tutorials on how to use it somewhere around here.

The latest dash update, 9199, allows you to use reglar USB flash drives as memory for the 360. You can transfer individual files over as long as the USB drive is formatted in FAT32 format..

And you say your transferring from a BIG hard drive to a SMALL hard drive? well obviously you can not transfer 120GB worth of data to 60GB hard drive... you can only copy what your hd can hold...
