I was thinking of buying a xbox360 but wanted to know if you can mod it? I have a modded wii with Homebrew and have my games on an external HDD and was wanting to do the same with an xbox 360. How can it be done? Thank you for your help. Cheers!

The only way you can store games on either the internal HDD or an external HDD is if you get a JTAG'd xbox. These are quite rare and sell for £120 - £200. The are also not for use on xbox live as you will get banned.

The most common way of modifying an xbox is to flash the firmare on the DVD drive, this allows you to play back up disks but you will need the disk in the draw to play there

google jungleflasher. Or you can google jungleflasher pdf and it has the tutorial on what you will need to do. You also will need a compatible sata chip in order to do this.
