well ive been rading alot about modding my drive , and this is the only forumwith pro people ive read other forums dont explain things like they should so i need an aswer for this big doubt im having.
i have this liteon 93450 and bought on ebay the lt switch 1.5 so i solder it and thats it right sooo do i need a conectivity kit or some kind of spear to read the keys or i just conect the drive to the xbox power and conect the sata to my pc and read it on jungle flasher?? im a bit confused cause ive read a loooot a shit ton of info and i think i crossed some info.
are the keys extracted by the sata conection or do i buy a conectivity kit , buy the spear and extract keys with it?
The recommended way of doing this is with a connectivity kit and probe. Most people have been favoring the xtractor pro v2 and the vampire probe.
If you are poor or cheap, there are ways of doing this without those tools but you have to be pretty good at soldering on circuit boards.
So, use the first method, as it will give you a full dump of your firmware including laser calibration data....BUT...
Lastly, if you've never done this before, the drive you are trying to flash is not a beginners drive. I would take it to someone REPUTABLE in your area to do this for you as you can easily short the board. I took mine to someone reputable (my own console) to flash when my computer crashed a while back, and even with their experience, they managed to cause a short on the PCB I still don't understand. I can't isolate where the problem is. This is a tricky drive for a lot of people...so know the risk.

All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."
yeah you are totaly right well first of all thank you very much for the answer i apreciate the help, the problem is that in my country nobody makes this since everyone is just scared about it.
well let me see if i understood i definitely need a probe and a conectivity kit the keys are not extracted with the sata?
well im poor but if u guys recomend me the ck3 and the probe ill buy it, im a total noob at this but the good part im receiving pro help XD
