Hello,

I bought an Xbox 360 last night used from one of my local game stores. I took it right away to get it modded, The guy came back out like 15 min later saying there was no serial number? Or something like that and I should go back and get a new one from the place? Does something like that sound right? Or does it sound b.s. and I should take it to someone else?

Sounds to me that your friend may have lost your drive key whilst attempting to flash. Test your xbox to see if it plays original games, if it doesnt he has lost the drive key and he owes you a new xbox (assuming that the shop tested it)

agreed. It's pretty hard to lose the key unless he bricked your drive. Sounds to me like he didn't know what he was doing. 15 minutes is a long time
