so I live in germany and have an American xbox 360... now i wanted the ps3 from my brothers room so we switched... him beeing stupid enough thinking the power brick of the 360 was a transformer.. zapped the console? idk what happened i have my room all the way downstairs. did it actually kill the console? or just the power brick * 120 v* plugged in to 240 v*

you would have to check what the light status is on the power brick... your 220V outlet was waay too much power for the brick, so you might have toasted the brick... the only way to really find out is to first check the status of the brick, and once thats confirmed as ok, try the console.... the only way to know if the console is ok, is to test it using a confirmed working (north american) power supply.

I've seen/read somewhere that there is a fuse in the brick... but you'd have to crack open the brick (google opening the xbox 360 power supply) to replace it... i'm not even 100% sure its user replaceable

yea i just plugged it in *the brick* and its indicating yellow which means it should still work and the whole console works... im surprised thank you :)
