I want to make a rapid fire controller and I see i can buy the 7MODE on ebay for around $8.99, but is there another way to do it cheaper?
Is it best if I do it with the chip or just solder 2 points and use a momentary button from radio shack?
I fix xbox 360 already so I wouldn't mind to start selling them with rapid fire controllers but only if is worth it lol.

Lol M&M are that much this days O.O, Well I really want to know if is worth it, A friend told me to get INTENSAFIRE RAPID FIRE MOD KIT but that one is $25
The Intensafire is what I sell to customers these days. They are alot more expensive than a pic, but the installation time is nothing when installing a pic and resistors.
And if someone can "fix" a 360, it doesn't necessarily mean they can install a pic. You do have to solder. I see some people on forums and auction sites who claim to be "360 repair professionals" and yet do nothing more then crank a screwdriver.
So depending on what kind of soldering skills you have, you may want the Intensafire because it's the easiest to solder.
