XBOX 360 RROD No Error Codes

My Xbox began to freeze with half inch greyish blocks being displayed over the frozen screen after a few minutes of playing. When I unplugged it to reset it and plugged it back in it would display the 3 red rings. After waiting about 10 minutes it would work for another few minutes, freeze and then same RROD.

I took it apart and tried the penny fix but during the overheating (about 7 minutes) the fans turned off with only one red ring showing with no noise whatsoever.

I then proceeded to try the xclamp fix (removing xclamps and replacing with machine screws) but still only one red ring and the xbox not turning on and no fans.

I've tried two sets of power bricks and AV cables but that made no difference. I don't think any power is getting anywhere except to display the one red ring as there is no error code displayed on my TV and I am unable to get my xbox to display a secondary error code.

I think I fried something during the penny fix overheating but I don't know what. My hard drive isn't plugged in. What could be wrong with it?

And is has been sent in to Microsoft before where they added the upgraded heat sync.
