xbox backup help on burning

My friend gave me a .rar file for the game, dragon age origins (a backup copy). When I opened up the .rar file I got a whole bunch of other .rar files called sp-dao (which all contain similar things), and a bunch of files that had .r## as their file type. I have no idea what to do with these files and which ones to burn as the backup. Someone please direct me into the right direction.

download a program called win rar and install

right click on the file and click extract to

it will extract and you will see your burnable file

I already have win rar. And I have already extracted the burnable file, however, when i burn it on a dual layer verbatim disk and put it in my xbox 360 it shows the disk as a DVD and only shows the xbox logo when I click play. So the conclusions i came up with was that I extracted the wrong file (since there were many files in the .rar I downloaded which containted other .rar {which in turn contained .r00 - .r30} and an ISO and an image file). Can someone please tell me if I doing the burning correctly (cloneCD at 2.4X) with the right file and if so why is my xbox only showing the xbox logo when I press play on the disk (which the system recognizes as a DVD).
