i plugged my daughters mp3 into my x box and boom now wont turn on tryed other power supply but no sign of life any idea thanks andy

unplug all devices, clean out dust, and try it out (without the mp3).

Sounds like the usb connector got bent. Look where you plugged it in and see if the contacts are touching metal
