So i have a modified xbox (red). 1 day power was crackeling....We opened it and soldered it. Worked fine for a couple years.....now it is doing it again....took the whole thing apart to re-solder and then went to get the solder gun and it was gone.....**** got a few choice words for who took it....ANYWAY i have another xbox (not modified) and took it apart to replace the whole power board.....And it gave power but would not load to regular screen it said my xbox needs service in green print.....and alot of chinese or japanese wrinting......green print black screen......Anyone know what I can do? Is there anyway to get my games back? god it had built in memory so i never got a memory card........Hate to start over....Not even worth it might as well get a new system....ANY SUGGESTIONS TO REPAIR IT??? Or can I modify another box with my same xbox parts? swith motherboards? or the swithes or what?

Sounds like it's an Xbox (not Xbox 360).

Seems like it's missing the dashboard or it's corrupted somehow.

I'd say buy a $10 DuoX 2 GS Modchip and install it.

Download and burn "AID Deluxe". Last version I know of was 4.0 but any will do.

Use AID Deluxe to install to install the Microsoft dash to "C" and an alternative dash to "C" "D" "E" of "F".

And Kistle, why do you have 3 threads with the same question?
