Hi can anyone tell me how to make an xbox 360 hard drive work as a storage drive on a pc? if it can be done? i have a 60 gig and a 120gig just lying around but i could use more storage space on my pc so i thought i would use them if i can? but they wont show up on my computer. however they do show up in device manager. can anyone help?

Connect the hard drive to your pc, right click on "my computer" and choose Manage. A new window (Computer Management) will open. Click once on "Disk Management" from the left hand side, and wait a few seconds as your hard drives are detected and show up on the right side. Scroll through the drives on the right side and you will probably see your xbox 360 hard drive but it will not be available, it should be greyed out... I believe you just have to right click on it, and it will give the option to initialize.. just click that and it should format the drive and you can assign it a drive name/letter, and thats it.
