This question may sound stupid, but I have a Xbox 360 with iXtreme firmware 1.4.I I would like to go online to Xbox Live,and play on it till I get ban, but I am worried bout this Hard Disk nuke that Microsoft does when you mod your 360.Now here's the question.Could they affect my HD if for instance i play offline with HD, and then I remove it and after that i play on Xbox Live without HD.And when I want to play offline again I disconnect from Xbox Live and put my HD on again.If I do that, could they still affect my HD or not?Or should remove my HD permanently?Thanks for any help, I would appreciate it.

the latest update does not cripple the hard drive so nothing will happen to your hdd when you get banned and you will using that firmware.why dont you upgrade to ixtreme lt
before going online
you will eventually get banned with this also as soon as m$ figure out how to detect it if not all ready but it is considered the safest one to use.
