sooo i have a Verizon air card usb727 and i have been trying to connect this to my xbox360 for some time now i have the card plugged into my computer and the Ethernet into the laptop and the xbox360...i have read many things about doing this and everyone says you must bridge the connections... however i can not do this because vista will not let me the air card says its logged onto the internet using dial up but the Ethernet port is said to be a LAN is their anyway i could get around this and still bridge them or is their any other way i can do this without buying a router????

Are you using a cross-over ethernet cable to connect your XBOX to your laptop (a normal patch cable will not work). You will also have to set you IP address manually on your XBOX and on your Ethernet adaptor in your PC. Once you have done this, you should be able to bridge your connections.
