I'm really sorry for this, but I have quite a dilemma. I had recently modded my 360 for the fact that I didn't have Internet for the past 2 months. Well, now my internet is on and it's fully functional. The thing is, I want to unmod my 360 before it is banned, if that's even possible. I have NEVER played a backup game online nor have I played one with the ethernet cable plugged in. Any advice is good advice. Please help if you can. Thanks.
first of all it would depend on what kind of firmware you put on the xbox, if it was LT then c4eva supposedly made claim that it will not be effected, as far as unmodding, you do that the same way you modded it to start with, just when you get to the part of loading the firmware you manually choose the original firmware that you(hopefully saved)had on the device when you modified it.

It was LT Firmware 1.6 or something like that. The guy that modded my machine kind of just picked up and left somewhere and is out of reach, so the original firmware I guess is out of the question?
If you can get a copy of the FW from another drive (Same model) and replace the key with your key it should work. I've been out of the flashing biz for a while but trying to get back into it. A lot has changed in the past year.
Why not download the original firmware from the usual places (xbins), and then flash your drive back to stock if you're that concerned? LT and 1.6 are two different firmware versions. We know that 1.6 is detectable. We're not sure clear on whether or not LT is detectable or not, yet. I guess we'll find out Nov. the 4th or soon afterward.
