I've downloaded the Left for DEAD theme? how to i go about putting this on my 360?

I've tried burning this exactly how i would burn a demo using "content" folders etc.. but to no avail.


Anyone smarter then i able to help?

did you download it via the xbox, or torrent site. im going to assume a torrent site since you stated you burned it as you would a demo. if so, then i have no clue. if it was via the xbox then i believe its in the settings. you might want to put the disc back in, or put it on a USB stick and then go to the settings where you would normally change the themes and see if it says anything about adding from external source.

I found that download, but haven't tried it yet. I thought the Premium themes were gamertag specific? If so then maybe you'd have to connect your hd to your pc and install it.

But like I said, I haven't tried it yet. I'm going to research it then I'll post what I come up with if no one else posts before then.

you need to have xport360 or xplorer360, a stata cable or that transfer cable you get with the 120 gig hdds

you need to go into your hdd, go to partion 3 and the usercontent folder

go to the 0000000000000000 folder, then make a 434307D4 folder if you dont already then Inside that folder make a 00030000 folder

then put your l4d file in that and you should be good to go

same can be done with the resident evil theme and the lost planet theme from oxm

I thought you couldn't use that hdd transfer cable to connect your xbox to pc anymore.

Seems like too much of a pain for me. disassemble my hard drive just to transfer files, then reassemble just for a theme. it was worth it to upgrade to 120gb but idk about this. plus they know what live content you have paid for (since you can always re-download) so it seems like this might flag something for m$.

this theme just came free(on disc) with xbox360 magazine, thats how you can download it. It's a premium theme too :-) i know you dont have to mess about using transfer cable and your hard drive because like i said, it comes on disc with the magazine.
