i did the reflow thursday and yes i used a heatgun and a griddle.

well then you overheated the board,,not on purpose,,but enough to seperate the harddrive jack from the board,,try to do a reflow,,very carefully of that jack,,mostly under the board,,what do you have to lose,,and if it works,,your welcome,,

i put solder on each little hdd connector on the bottom of the board and now it works great! playing it right now

The griddle works fine. It's the same aspect as the hotplate which is a waste of money if you get the right griddle. Again, too much work for a box that will RROD again and people don't want to pay over $30 for 5 hours of work LOL
