Description: More early xmas presents with XBReboot v0.05! Like freeBOOT v0.02 it will reboot into a patched 8955 kernel.

However, this one can be flashed directly in your onboard NAND flash, no need for a 2-nand solution. Before flashing it on your system, you will have to dump your console specific KeyVault (kv.bin) from your dumped Xbox 360 NAND image and put it inside the hacked image with nandpro:

nandpro 7371.bin: -r16 kv.bin 1 1
nandpro xbr.bin: -w16 kv.bin 1 1

Afaik, this initial version of XBReboot will only work on Xenon (v1) motherboards, but it's probably only a matter of time before it's made for other motherboard revisions.

Again, this hack relies on the JTAG hack to boot into XeLL from where it will do the reboot to the patched 8955 with virtual fuses, so will only work with 360s that don't have the new bootloader.

Comment from another user: ALL MS Signature checks are gone. This includes hdd checks. People on Xboxhacker confirmed that any sata hdd now works. The one guy threw a 160gb hdd in and after formatting it came in as 144GB.

Im almost positive this will work the same as an .iso loader.

The whole Xbox scene just exploded in one days time.

This will be absolutely useless unless they can figure out a way to get round all the updates. Most people will only do this if their console is banned and if they are banned, they've obviously updated.

Not at all! If this works this renders the DVD-FW hack
totally useless. That´s the greatest achievement ever
because it opens the 360 in the same way the XBOX 1 was
open. From now on the XDK can be used to do homebrew.
That´s the first step to having XBMC on 360.

I installed the JTAG-Hack and an LPT cable the same day
this FW was released. Unfortunately this XBREbooter does
NOT work on my Xenon 360.

I guess this release is broken to hell... because the
ECC of the whole image is incorrect. The Image can also
not be opened in the 360 flash tool and the backdoor
trigger to xell does not work either...

Maybe the next release does is better than v 0.05_0 and 0.05_1
