Hello, I have a 360 with a xeno 360 modchip in it. And it will not play any backup games, I am booting it the proper way, and I have tried converting the .dvd and .iso with 2 different NME aSSociat0r's the game is region free.
I am using TDK dvd+dl's and they worked for an older xbox 360 I had that was flashed, and I am sure I am suing imgburn properly, I have the book settings at dvd+dl media on dvd-rom setting and I have the layer breaker set to 1913760, nad I burn at 2.0 and at 2.4x speed. is there anythign anyone can suggest to help me? I thank you very much in advance for any help.
Fight night round 4 is a wave 3 game but I'm not for sure if that would make a difference with a mod chip. I have never used a modchip, always flashed.
I'd definitely recommend using a new media type, before anything. Try a Verbatim DVD DL and see if that works. Oftentimes 360 DVD drives will have problems reading burned (or even original) games due to a weak laser. Burned games are harder to read than originals. Crappy-quality burnable DVDs are harder to read than good-quality burnable DVDs.
If that doesn't work, try playing a burned wave 2 game.
If it still doesn't work after you try the new disc type and a wave 2 game, maybe you need a POT calibration for you DVD laser, or just need to outright replace it.
