You need to be more specific on what you need to know, because I don't think there is a guide for it (it's straight-forward).

Just put your downloaded xbla games in the content/0000000000000000 folder. If you want to unlock the, google Yaris swap (i think)
Best way to get your ROMS on to your xbox HDD is via FTP.
To get instant assistance with Flashing / JTAG / Homebrew from experts for free! click me (Im not one of the said experts BTW)

If you have SNES360 already on your HDD, the best way to launch ROMs is from a USB stick.
Using your computer, create a folder on your USB stick and name it "_Emus" (without the quotes). Within that folder, create another one and name it "Snes360". Finally, within that one create one and call it "Roms". Place all your snes roms in this folder.
Now you can put the USB stick in your 360. When you launch SNES360, click on roms and use the right shoulder button to change directories until you see your USB roms. Click on one to launch it.
Don't bother with FTP, it gets too complicated. I use USB to transfer just about everything to and from the 360, much easier.

For ftp,
host = 360 ip (shown in xex menu config screen)
username = xbox
password = xbox
That doesn't seem too hard.

Honestly not trying to be rude, but if copy/paste is too technical then you may be better off just selling the jtag as that is about as hard as it gets. There really is no guide. But if you be more specific with your questions we'll help walk you through it.
All you mention is you want to know how to unlock xbla. Do you mean you want to unlock xbla demos you've downloaded from LIVE to your 360 hdd, or games you've downloaded from the web on to your pc?

Actually, I found it to be more difficult than that as there are numerous extra settings that I didn't know needed to be set. I gave up on FTP and found USB to be much easier.

Which ftp program were you trying to use? Maybe we can help get you set up also. I use Filezilla. It's free and really easy. And, as a matter of fact, there is one setting you would want to change. In the Edit-> Settings, you'd want to set Connection-> FTP to Active Mode.
And that's it. There's nothing else at all you need to set other than the connection to active.
For it to connect to your 360, you would need either Xex Menu or Freestyle Dash running.

I should have clarified. I do have the FTP function working, I also use Filezilla. I just find it much easier to use the copy/paste function in xexmenu to work the best.
