Hi there, I am new to flashing xbox 360's but I did mine with no problems. I some have some "backup" games from 2006/7/8 and they work fine on my modded xbox but I have tried burning some new backed up games with imgburn, with a laybreak and they still dont work.

Does the verison of the firmware depend on what games can be read/run??

Or do you think that it is the dvd +r dl that are causing this issue?

Any game made after March 2009 is a "Wave 3" game because of the NXE update on the disc. You will need to update the firmware to allow the new games to be booted.

Thanks for that reply. I tried burning a game with a verb dl dvd that my mate gave me and it works fine. Do you know how old the FW v.2 xtreme stealth 8-in1 is? It must be up to date firmware surley as I just ran Dirt 2 with no problems?? Going on what you said about wave?

Could the game be patched? I really don't know the specifics about the firmware version you have. But since it is stealth, I would assume it does all the regular CRC checks. Can you confirm that the game is not patched by running it through ABGX. Do you play on XBOX Live?
