Im trying to burn an Xbox 360 backup of a game that i OWN on a Mac and failing miserably. I have looked at numerous guides and tutorials, and followed them exactly, with everything going fine until i actually get to burning the game. The burning process goes directly from 'preparing to burn' to 'finishing burn', at which point it keeps on going forever. I know its supposed to take a while, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say that 4 hours is probably too much.
I have:
- Mac OS X Leopard
- OSx360 and X360ISO Hacker, with both having the same result
- An ISO file and a DVD file that I am 99.9% sure are fine
- What I *think* are Verbatim DVD R + DL
The only thing I can guess that I'm doign wrong is that I might have the wrong DVD. I live in Russia, and unfortunately the only way to find them was to go to a less than reputable dealer, who might well have screwed me. Is my problem consistent with using the wrong kind of DVD, or am I missing something else?
I believe the generally accepted process for Mac OS is to either dual boot or use a VM to use Windows and ImgBurn. Might as well use ABGX360 while you're in Windows as well.
i heard iburn360 screwed up the stealth so im not sure about using it, and im already using abgx360. I'm pretty sure the dvds are the problem, so I'm going to go try find some new ones tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback though.
