Thinking about getting a 250gig Slim later on and putting my 60gig in my Son?s room. Is there an easy way for us to have our same profile on both units? Does not sound logical but I would not want him to play CODMW2 in his room online and later in the living room online and lose info.
Tell me to use the search function and I'll poke you in the eye.
You should just be able to create a profile on your new PS3, and associate your current PSN details with it in the same way you would if you were game sharing (see the game sharing thread).
However, there is a limit on the number of machines you can associate with your profile...5 the last I heard.
Hope that helps.
Edit: The above would only save your online progress, not your game saves. I assume that this is what you are after. There is no way that I know of to automatically transfer updated game saves between PS3's.

Then the pirate selling games relabeled Assassins Creed 1 and called it Assassins Creed 2. This is called marketing.
Your friend is honest and thinks she plays AC2 on a PS3. In reality she is playing AC1 on a PS2.

Ibizagti & H08, Thanks. The game share thread, that?s a long one. Yep, I?m just looking for something like, I?m level 5 on system A and then Play on System B and level up to 6. When I go back to system A, I want to be level 6. I know COD MW keeps your level online. I?m not so worried about transferring game save but that would be ok too.
btw, I can google it here but I cant open GAME web sites. Appears to be several threads about it, I just cant see them.
Yeh, the game share thread is pretty long, I'll simplify what you need to do...
When you buy the new system set up a new logon profile on the machine (Users --> new user on XMB).
Go to the Network section of the XMB, and select the "Sign up for Playstation Network" option.
Select "Use existing account", and enter your email and password for the account you want to use.
Your PSN account will then be associated with that logon id
If you're playing COD:MW then then your online progress (level, class setup's etc) will definitely be available on both systems, as they are all stored on the game servers and not on the PS3 itself. I assume that this will be the same for MW2.
