Hey, I've been having audio problems with my PS3 any help would be great when I play a movie its awsome, when I play a game its awsome, but if I am listening to music thats where I get problems it sounds like crap it some times gets crackely or crappy sounding and it only seems to be with music, my ps3 is hooked up to my TV by HDMI.

Try going to the Audio setup. You may have all of the output Frequencies selected. (Brain Fart, i cant remember what the best one is) Deselect all of the frequencies but 1 of them. Try each one at a time. You will find the best one. There are only @ 5 options.
