Hi....

Im not fortunate enought to have a huge hdmi capable tv. so im still using the yellow crappy cable..
but one thing... i put the ps3 on my monitor (which is hdmi but is only 24 inch) and i works well.. but as soon as i put it back to my tv using the red white yellow avi cable, it doesnt show up. i brought it back to the monitor (pc ) and it works..
is there a setting that says it must be selected to run on certain video outputs???

Yes, you have to select the output from the XMB...or just turn the system off, and turn it on holding the power button till the system beeps at you a couple times.
