Best PS3 add = 2006 Anamorph commercial where the PS3 turns into different charters like Ratchet, Resistance fighters etc while playing Welcome to the Show by Saliva. Even if you were an Xbox fan (I have one), you thought that was bad ass.
2nd for me may be the new ?I got two words for you, Mon ? tage? commercial.

I cant say that any PS3 commercials have appealed to me, that might be because i dont watch TV much, i do have a favourite console advertisement though and thats the banned Xbox one, where a baby is born then flys through the sky turning older, then lands in a grave.

Forgot about that one. Thats some funny stuff. PSP ad people need to get with the PS3 ad people. PSP ads tend to suck.
My wife thinks Uncharted is a movie. I'll file that under Not an issue.

I liked the commercial where they were blatently lieing to a customer...at least they were honest about their dishonnesty for about 30 seconds.
My least favorite commercials are the ones for the slim where they say, "It only does everything"...despite the fact that it has no PS2, Linux, or NetFlix support.

Actually Uncharted WILL become a movie. I dont know when its coming out but naughty dog has confirmed this on several playstation blog posts

Here in the USA, "the regulators" are the FCC, and they have a rule against showing the unclothed butt. You can show a dozen children being killed by a wheet threasher, but you cannot show the butt.

Marcusita, I watched that last night. Cool but definitely different. I would assume that Sony did not produce that as it would be considered slander.
Btw, Hugh Jackman is to be Drake in the Uncharted Film.

I can see that working. Maybe Penelope Cruz as Chloe - if she can pull off a slightly english accent (maybe just show her in those jeans and dub her voice with another chick). Just hope it's not as hopelessly corny and boring as the Tombraider or National Treasure franchise.

It's a hollywood film...I've got a feeling that it will be as bad as all the other video game movies.
Remember Street Fighter the Movie. Hitman the Movie. Resident Evil the movie, mario brothers the movie...all terrible.

Hugh Jackman as Drake is a terrible idea. He has that Aussie accent anyways hes not cool enough to be Drake. He doesnt have that sarcastic attitude. It should be David Boreanaz he looks exactly like Drake and has the personality to match.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

If you turn off the sound to avoid the stupid storyline, then RE is a decent film if only for the skin...but the Hitman movie was unexcusable...that hack couldn't have saved the terrible script, but he certainly didn't help. They didn't even take advantage of the great lines from the games, like "Names are for friends, so I don't need one"...that would have been great if he had said that when that woman in the hotel bar asked him his name. ;-)

Good point. I had no idea who David Boreanaz was. Googled him. I've seen his face before, but only on commercials for shows. Isn't he on some cheesy Fox show? Or wasn't he a vampire angel demon or something. Totally agree about the look though!

You musnt watch much TV.
He was in Buffy and played Angel, her love interest, then he went to his own show, which was called Angel, he has been doing a hit US TV show called Bones for the past few years.

he actually looks a bit like drake, plus you'll have the original voice.
If hes good enough for the voice acting and mo-cap then i don't see why he wouldn't be good enough in a live action version. Although i haven't ever watched a live action game based movie more then once.
