I apologize in advance if there's already a sticky for this or is already on an existing one. My friends PS3's blu ray drive is not reading any discs. I tried a few non invasive fix's that I found online and so far none has worked.Is it better to replace just the laser or is he better off replacing the entire disc drive?

i would try a new lazer first does it still play demo's try a cd or dvd
