So I just got my PS3 for X-mas! Freakin love it! Now what I want to do is create some custom XMB themes. Can anyone guide me through or to the right place to do this? I have some phenomenal ideas and am happy to share them once done, just need to learn how to do it. Any help is as always greatly appreciated! Thanks all.

Just google "Make PS3 Theme" and you should be able to find everything...Sony released a kit to make themes...I used it to make a Lotus theme, and it was very easy.

I made a tutorial ages ago, its not the greates, but im sure youll get the idea.

Thanks all, I actually downloaded the custom theme creator at PS3Vault which so far works great (haven't actually made one but have toyed around with it alot). Also highly recommend to anyone giving it a go to get the paint.net program (another freebie) for resizing and custom designing. Took awhile toying around to figure it all out but will begin posting some of my custom work on some of the themes sites. Ist here anywhere to post them here? If not we should create something. Thanks again guys.

i use gimp for making my psp themes and its like photoshop but free

Me too...I still think photoshop has a better interface, but I'll work with GIMP since it is free.
