Call of duty 4 LAN?

Hi there, im trying to connect two PS3's via a lan.

Both consoles are on the LAN but cannot see each other.

Does any body know why this is or how to solve it?

I've tried searching for a smilar post but cant see any thing,

So you connected both PS3 via Ethernet?

Have you tried connecting the two to a router/modem and seeing if that works?
