Hello, I have a problem with my 60gb Pal PS3. If I try to watch a DVD the picture with display with a green tint. It's perfectly fine on games. I bought Advent Children Complete and I thought it might be ok because its a Blu-ray disc like the games but I still get the green tint.
The problem is probably my SDTV, just a basic Philips Widescreen, but I just wanted to ask if anyone else has encountered this problem and maybe a solution? I thought I could get a different cable.
The cable I'm currently using is this exact one -

This worked great for my Ps2 as it let me play copies and imports in colour instead of displaying in black and white, but maybe it's no so good for PS3?
I'd like to avoid buying a new TV for now since I don't have much money at all, I'd love a HDTV but just don't have the money. So maybe the 'Green Tint' problem could be fixed by a new RGB lead?
