can wii interfer with ps3's connection?

hey everyone i've been having problems with my ps3 controller disconnecting during mid

game play. so today i went to go play some Nintendo wii and the wii board said"

communication interference. I'm wondering has anyone else had this problem. The only

other problem i can think is the wireless router i disabled it and made it wired with

the ps3 same problem.

Easiest way to check is by not having both systems turned on at the same time or accessing the internet at the same time. The wii will display a yellow light even when you "turn it off" this is so you are able to receive your wii mails or whatever thats called from friends while the wii is "sleeping/ in standby mode" so your using the connection even though its off, so unplug it from the outlet to completely turn it off or hold your finger on the power/reset button longer the light will go from green(on) to yellow (standby) to red (off). Also try separating the consoles further away to avoid interference from the signals. But in all likelyhood it may just be your controller use it with the USB cable not wirelessly and see if that solves the problem if it still loses connection while being connected to the USB port through the sync charge cable then its your controller, also simpler explanation is that the rechargeable battery inside your controller may just be very low or dying completely try charging it, when its low it will give you a message and it may desync from the PS3 then scan to try to reconnect ( 4 flashing red lights on the controller) Hope this solves your problem.
