It seems when ever i try to stream a movie (avi, xvid, divx...) through my PS3 from my computer that is larger than 1Gb that the video plays really choopy and is nearly unwatchable. Seems that smaller files ( around 700mb ) play alot smoother. I was wondering if this is a common problem or perhaps an issue with my wireless connection. I am still running on the Bell all in one modem + router that i got when i signed up with them about 4 yrs ago so i know my hardware is out of date. Would my videos play better if i upgraded all of my hardware to Wireless N ??

Are you wired or wireless with the ps3 and computer? Sometimes my videos stutter if I stream wireless

Weird that you say that b/c the data transfer capacity of a wireless connection is greater than that of you average home ethernet connection.
