DMZ wont work on my PS3

I've been trying to put my PS3 into the DMZ of my router because when I play online it lags a LOT. But the DMZ thing isn't working so I tried to just connect to my Linksys router (before I tried the DMZ thing I just used my router). I've tried to reset all the settings on the computer and on the PS3 but it can't connect to the router. I have two computers, one that's connected straight to the router by a cable and one that used to connect to the router by wireless butt know it won't work thanks to the DMZ thing. It's been four days since I connected to the internet on the PS3. How do I fix this? Please help!!!!!! Go easy on me since I don't know much about DMZ stuff and other internet stuff.

Usually there is a little button on linksys routers that will reset all the settings to default. If that does not work, post the model# of the router.
