Edited my post because I found this link online:

This shows you how to run the exploit on a TI-84+ and having backup manager to boot! Happy day!

This is mainly posted for my future reference and others to be able to enable backups to use on the internal/external drive. Have fun!

This tut works great but you need to run jailbreak every time you power up your ps3.
backup manager stays installed but install pkg files and actual jailbreak does not.
if you are doing this bear that in mind.
