Firmware on new 320GB consoles

For those wondering what firmware comes on the new consoles, this is for a UK console I cannot confirm for US or any other.
I got it today, 1 day early! Anyway what you all want to know is what firmware it's on. I got the 320GB PS3 with the Move Starter Pack, I can confirm firmware version is 3.40
So get the current batch before they are sold out and Sony start shipping with 3.42+

nice, mate. you created another thread to remind people of it.
My PS3 with 160GB is gonna arrive in 2 days in the USA, I hope it is <=3.41.
I think the likelihood of me getting a 3.42+ is very low.

hello,I don't have a PS3 SLIM
but am thinking of buying the MOVE bundle
i don't know where on the packaging box the firmware is mentioned
can you please take a high res photo and post it here so when i go to check nextime,i can check it out
also if not much of a problem,please post high-res pics of all sides of the MOVE bundle packaging box
i have also heard there are is a box inside the exterior box,please post pics of that too if different

Do you already own a PS3 or are you going to buy one?
As for taking a photo with firmware version on it, no packaging contains information regarding the firmware version that is installed on the PS3, you can only find out after buying the ps3 and going into its settings. This is why if you want to get a ps3 which you want to jailbreak you want to get the current batch of ps3s. Once this batch runs out the only ones going to be on sale are those with 3.50 which cannot use the jailbreak devices.
If you are asking for a photo on the move bundle box again that does not contain firmware versions, but I think the move controllers will only work with firmware versions above 3.40

i have a PS3 fat 160gb but am thinking of upgrading
i think the new batch has already arrived with higher than 3.41 thats why i was asking and i basically am wishing to buy it cause of the homebrew
i think my fat PS3 box had mentioned firmware on the upside or the back
anyways thanks
can you still post the photos of both the interior 320gb box and exterior Move 320gb packaging
i would like to see the things mentioned on it

Well the new 320gb slim ones should be 3.40 for the mean time.

oh and thats my phat ps3 in the last photo not a slim. But slim goes in same place with 2 cardboard supports on side. All teh wires go in the small compartment at the top, and only the manual goes in the large compartment.
In motion controller box, controller goes in the square section, camera wrapped in bubble wrap in teh larger section three with the the manuals and demo disc. This is UK version so we only get a demo disc, US version apparently has full copy of Sports Campions I think.

Hi, i am planning to buy the PlayStation®3 320GB with Move Starter Pack Bundle.
I am not sure of the FW, but i am wondering if i will be able to JB it???
