I just got Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and my friend and I went halfs because of this game sharing we can do but I do ahve a question to clear things up. If we use my master account to purchase and share from, can he and I play this game online simultaneously with my bring on my master and him on his own with my game shared. Or do we need to make a new account together and use a "joint" account to just use and the game sharer.

As long as your friend has a copy of the game, which he does, then he will be able to play online with you.

There are some games where it doesn't work but MVC2 aren't one of them so no worries.
