My friend shared games to my PS3, but I needed to wipe my HDD. I deactivated my PS3 on MY account on my PS3, but not HIS account on my PS3. Does this mean that my friend wasted a share on me and cannot share again (because he's up to his last one)? Or since I deactivated my PS3 on MY account, he's safe to share with me again?

His PS3 will still be activated on your console, just deactivate it, also you didnt need to deactivate your PS3 to wipe the HDD.

Do you actually mean that you deleted your PS3 account for the console, or the PSN account for your console.

I already wiped it and I needed to deactivate it that way it wouldn't waste his share. I didn't deactivate HIS account. does that mean since I didn't deactivate his and just mine that he wasted a share?
