Greetings,

There seems to be a plethora of info on the new PS3 modding, but I can't find anything that says the OtherOS is back. I thought that was Geohot's primary goal and did he succeed? The only way I would consider modifying my system is if I can run Linux on it again.

It is enabled on 3.41 by dongle. GeoHot was able to modify 3.55 so there is nothing blocking OtherOS, but we are waiting for someone to re-write to code that was removed from 3.15, so that it can be used with 3.55 (they can't just copy-n-paste because it is sony code, and that would be illegal...they have to start from scratch)
