HD loader on ps3 No.2

Hi there, I've been hearing that HDloader wont work on PS3s stating that it's an incompatible console, but has anybody tried this method?
Format the ps3s HDD alloting either 10GB or everything but 10GB to the other OS, then download PS2 system data from the PS store and try out HDloader.
Has anybody tried this?? Because the PS2 system data is used to allow the ps3 to use some of it's hard drive to the HDD running ps2 games, so if anybody's tried this plz tell me stating wheither it works, I believe it COULD work but i so dont have it yet and dont wanna if it wont work.

this wouldnt work, other os gives a linux ready partition and the xmb or ps3 would not be able to read that. i think if you have a backwards compatable ps3 then you can do the swapmagic and external hd method. but nothing internal
plus hdloader isn really an os you dont install it like your thinking and where would you put the ps1 memory card to triger the elf?

well i doubt my ps3's gonna blow up, the consseqence for me would be that i end up wasting around £30, unless i get confiration that someone out there has tried this out with my method, i cant give up, thanks for ur advice anyway

The PS3 was 3 on the 11th of this month, what makes you think that in this time it hasnt been tested, and that you are the first to discover this miraculus thing, it has been tested several times, it just dosnt work, i dont know in what other words to explain to you that it wont work :(

ROFL if it was possible, i would know abnout it, if you want more assurance, go to the ps3hax/haxnetwork IRC server, i am GregoryRasputin there, i will be more than willing to have other people that know more about this stuff, to explain to you that it dosnt work.
