The 13th is almost here and with it comes 3 Triple A Games. Brutal Legend, Uncharted 2, Fallout 3 GOTY.Then On the 27th Ratchet And Clank: A Crack in time comes out and finally On November 13th Modern Warfare 2 Comes Out. Just for a heads up Toys R' Us is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale from the 11th-17th

Thats a good deal. Im just gonna get Uncharted 2 next week tho. Brutal Legend looked good at first but I lost interest in it for some reason.
This season Im just getting Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2, and I was planning on getting Heavy Rain but I heard it got delayed to 2010. I might pick up Tekken 6 also im not sure yet.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

That's a pretty generous offer Toys R Us is having. It's too bad there isn't one here... then again, I'm not sure if it'd be a national sale. It could just be a local special for you, H08. If so, then lucky you.

Not going to buy brutal legend (Jack Black=headache IMHO)
Not going to buy uncharted 2 untill it hits the bargain bin (just not worth $60 to me)
Not going to buy Fallout 3 (it's not even a new game, just a re-release)
Not going to buy Ratched and Clank (I'm not 5 years old)
Going to by modern warfare 2...if it has mouse support. Otherwise, I'll get it on PC.
You forgot one other game...Gran Turismo 5 comes out 12-23-09 per newegg. I'm gonna be in line to buy it on the night of the 22nd!

I'm 40 and I have Ratchet and Clank pre-ordered. Games like this have no age limit. Pure fun.
As soon as i'm through playing R&C, i'm getting Uncharted 2.
My Son will be getting COD MW2 when it comes out.

if you don't have fallout 3, I highly recommend it. Amazing game.
I'll probably wait for a little while on Uncharted.

I've got fallout3 but not the DLC. Kinda pisses me off that we just got the DLC and now the goty is comming out with the DLC on it. I might trade in my fallout 3 in for GOTY edition. I keep all of my games, i dont know what GameStop gives for a trade in. I still have all of my Atari games and console, Sega Genisus stuff. PS1, PS2, PS3 and (360 disk scratcher/in the closet).

Well, since all of these games are new, I don't think that's going to matter much. :P
I kid. But yeah, that's a sweet deal nonetheless. And hey, Mapquest says there IS one in my city! Huzzah! Now if only I had the money... Modern Warfare 2 looks like gold. As does Fallout 3.

Add Resistance 3 to that list. Date?? They are making a Movie (Battle field LA) here in Shreveport/Bosier City on I49 and at the old Pinzoil Plant. They have a Big BillBoard up with Resistance3 on it at the movie set right by the road. It will be in the movie. Dont know when the movie or game will come out.
I am at work and cant look at GAME related sites. Can see this one cause it is Tech. Can anyone find out anything about this.

Agree on Brutal Legend - Just doesn't seen my kinda game at all.
Disagree on Uncharted 2 - If any game is worth £35 it's this; the first was great and this'll certainly be better, you're in the minority if you beg to differ :D
Agree on Fallout 3 - Besides, it gets pretty boring after a reasonably short while...
Disagree on Ratchet and Clank - They're great games and i think you're being too narrow minded in sidelining them (granted, i think the older games in the series were a little better).
Modern Warfare obviously won't have mouse support - it would be an unfair advantage over other players online. That said, i'm buying the PS3 version and downloading the PC version (multiplayer on PS3 with friends, single player on PC with better graphics and mouse/keyboard).
Gran Turismo 5 isn't out until March 31st in Japan, and it'll be released in all other territories at a later date.

Just recently got NFS:Shift, Operation Flashpoint and FIFA 10 all very good games. Will ddfinatley getting MW2 as have been waitng for this for a while as COD4 kinda boring now.

really? you're going to be that guy? Personally I think it's a terrible thing that so many gamers are graphics whores as it is but really? C'mon son Ratchet and Clank is just a platformer. We'e not asking ya to play Miley Cyrus sings My Little Mermaid. Are you going to be that guy who only plays Madden, Hyper-realistic racing Sims and games where you shoot people with guns and that's it. Don't be that guy who gets an erection playing Black.

Just Uncharted 2. The multiplayer alone should have me occupied once the story runs dry. Next is going to be Lost Planet 2 in February. Loved the demo. Until then, I may grab a couple of PSN titles if they are good. My wife is very competitive with Guitar Hero, so that will eat up some time. Might get Dirt 2 if the used price comes down a bit. Also probably spend more time on LBP with the kids. Might get R&C for the kids. Just depends on the price. But they are still absorbed in LBP. No need to introduce them to something new unless they ask.
Not big on the war games. Played F3 on PC and it didn't do anything for me. I also agree that Jack Black=headache...lol. My buddy is trying to convince me to get into Gran Turismo. I may if I enjoy it at his house.

I heard R&C is around $55 or $60, but i still plan to get it.I have R&C TOD and I love it(my favourite game).I also highly recomend the resitence series.But, if your a Devil May Cry kind of guy, you may not like these.

I have enough games at moment to keep me going. I might get uncharted 2 later, and GT5
Not sure about Fallout 3 or Warfare 2
I am really waiting on God of War III, Max Payne 3, and The Getaway 3 (which is not cancelled now but on hold), lol, the PS2 game took 5 years in the making) and Assassin's Creed II
Anyway I can wait til the prices drop also.

I don't know if they've officially announced Payne 3 yet but there's a teaser poster that was released so it is coming.
Fallout 3 is a great game is you're looking for something to occupy your time while you're waiting for price drops. You can play that game for hours upon hours upon hours.

Yeah we saw the Max Payne 3 poster at an EB games here.
Its supposed to be released in North America Q2 2010

KillerBug, SplitFish has you covered with their new Mouse & Controler for warefare 2. I dont think that it is fair using a mouse while others use the controler but SplitFish has you taken care of now.

Unreal 3 PS3 has mouse support...it's up to the developer. If they want me to pay more for a a PS3 version with lower quality graphics, the least they can do is include mouse support. Otherwise, I'll buy the cheaper PC version. Including mouse support is not an unfair advantage...is including 1080P support unfair to players with TVs that only support 720P? Is racing wheel support an unfair advantage in racing games?

I tried the SplitFish my friend bought (he offered to sell it to me cheap because he didn't like it). I didn't like it either, didn't feel like PC gaming at all. Aside from the lack of a keyboard (I don't like the numchuck thing), the actual movement is terrible because most games are optimised for the stick. Unreal 3 tournament PS3 has true mouse support, it does not feel 'sticky' like when using the SplitFish. If this wasn't bad enough, the mouse itself feels terrible; a $10 Logitech is a lot more comfortable to my hand.
As for ratchet and clank...I wasn't saying that they are just for 5 year olds (I can see how it could be misinterprited). I'm just saying that I don't like playing with stuffed animals anymore, even if they are blowing stuff up. To each his own, I don't like Warcraft either...but I know there are many who do... Also, I don't like madden games...but that is just because I don't like american football.

If you don't think mouse support creates an advantage you're lying to yourself. 1080p vs 720p doesn't change the way the game is played. heck 1080p vs 480p doesn't really change how the game is played. I would argue that using a racing wheel vs controller does give varying degrees of difficulty. I'm not AS familar with the racing wheel dynamics but m&k controls offer a clearly superior control over your input.
That said I think I should clarify that I'm all FOR mouse support. I'm even for mouse support in online play, even if they don't put a little icon or something so you know whose using what ala Mario Kart Wii.
If you don't like platformers or Ratchet and Clank I still think you're strange but it was your 'kiddie' comment that I had specific issue with so that aside I don't hold anything else against you.

Just putting it out there - Uncharted 2 deserves game of the year :o
Finished the story mode a couple of hours ago and it's certainly one of the best games story wise i've ever played. It just happens that it also sports the best graphics in any console game, AND I'd say they're second only to Crysis - which it also rivals at a few points.
