LoL...they have been talking about that forever. As long as people are still buying PC, 360, PS3, and Wii games, publishers will keep making them.

Ah yes the cloud system, we really should be aware of this. First of all you have to buy the game and then you have to subscribe to use their network! You end up paying to play a game you own every month!

Prices will and should decrease, but note that because you will be paying monthly, you can end up paying several times the amount you currently pay!

And as teh article states this onyl works if the net is neutral but when we already have ISPs trafficking p2p flows, what will stop them from doing this to gaming data. It's already happened in WoW, the data transfer is similar to p2p and some people have found updating to be very slow.

What these companies want are obviously not in favour for the consumer but their wallets as usual.
