I just discovered that I can jailbreak my ps3 with my ti-84+ calculator (go calc 2). I have a couple questions before I do this, I am running fedora on my ps3(for a school project so I can program for the cell). If I jailbreak my ps3 will I lose the ability to boot into my existing fedora install?

Second question, to transfer files from ps3 to pc or vice versa using FTP (only have 10 gigs allocated to ps3 OS with 110 gig hard drive) what do I need and are there any guides (pretty sure there are and will be looking more after I post). Also I have a 500 gb external, but I've read some games files won't fit on a fat32 formatted drive, anyone have this problem? Are there any fixes? And will I be able to play off of an external drive hooked up through usb?(instead of copying to ps3 hard drive).

Finally, can I burn them to a blu-ray to store and use later? (potentially copy to ps3 when I want to play).
