Thanks to everyone's help I updated firmware for the first time and now have Kmeaw on my ps3. I loaded Rogero 7.9a and copied a backup of my MLB 2010. Everything read ok, but going to play it just black screens then back to XMB. I downloaded a permissions app that was mentioned in another posting and that didn't help either. Also tried LV-2 and LV-4, but still black screen. I know the games are there. Any suggestions? I'm thinking I may just delete everything I've added on and start over (leaving Kmeaw obviously).
Also a quick questions about the LV files - I only see a partial screen that says "Press X to Exit" - I let it sit for about 5 minutes then pressed "X". Does it normally take longer than that and I just can't see the whole text on the screen?

You get sent back to the XMB after you press play from RM?
Yeah, I select the game in RM, screen goes blank (a little blip here and there) then back to XMB. When I go to "Game" it selects the game that's in my drive.
Does it matter what LV version I use? 2 or 4?

I normally dont have to use lvl 2 with rm 7.9a but when i do i use lvl2 v2. So after you hit play game in Rogero and you go back to the xmb it doesnt change the title of the game from the one in your drive to the one you selected from Rogero? If it doesnt then thats weird.
Did you try restarting the ps3, run fix permission, run lvl2 v2 or 4 (whichever) then try again in Rogero? Then maybe try all the other backup managers, (gaia, open manager, multiman etc) and let me know!

Got it! I deleted and started over, ran exactly in your order and got it to work! Thanks so much!! Never really done anything like this myself so really appreciate the help. At least your G-Men don't have a coach with a foot fetish.
