Can anyone give me some of your reviews for MAG? I'm kinda on the fence about this game. I've always had the thought its going to be awesome or its going to fail miserably. How does the game play compare to modern warfare 2?

I?m with you. I played the Beta the last day it was out. To me, it was like Warhawk with bigger people, more people and better graphics. I miss flying planes. It is definitely not equal to CODMW2 in graphics and stealth. Seamed somewhat chaotic. I obviously was not on a team and I did not know what I was doing or know the map. But then again, it is not supposed to be. I?m interested in what the final game play is like.

I am in the same boat so I will rent it and keep a solid open minded outlook when I play since I don't want to go in how I did with KZ2 and get disappointed. But from the people I know who are playing it they say it is more for adults who are looking for a serious team based game and for people who strongly like a cohesive objective based strategy FPS. The best description of it that I have heard is MAG is to Chess as CODMW is to Checkers.

I was a beta tester since day one and hated it. I never really was a FPS kinda guy (with a few exceptions). I do see how people could like it with the chain of command, large rooms etc. I just thought that the game should run a little smoother, but 256 people in one game is revolutionary. All and all I have to say rent it as well so you can make up your mind yourself.

I got the beta cause I was bored one day and let me tell you I was one of the people who pre ordered. I love the game sure there are a few bugs but in the end its a great game also you know they are going to expand it DLC

Never tried the Beta but I have recently purchased the game and I love it! Graphics are great and the play is pretty fun (once I got used to the controls after playing Killzone 2 for so long), tough at time with SO many players at one time but the actual maps are pretty big so it spreads everyone out. I recommend everyone give it a go!

This is one of the reasons why I want to buy a PS3. Seems like a such different and fun game. There is only so many FPS games you can play where you just run around randomly killing ppl. From the comments this game seems really different.
