Is it just me or is anyone else having problems this morning. Yesterday I got home and did the update and I could not invite friends into my party or vice versa. Went online and found the temp solution to that. now this morning I start playing the game again to see another update (i hoped it was the friends invite fix) but now ever since that update I am having problems even to log in the the PSN Network(80710092 error) and literally 5 min before i was playing something else and checking other things on it. When I do get logged it MW2 now talks about matchmaking servers and it gets stuck there. The one time I actually got all the way through it wont log me into any games. What gives does anyone have any clue

Note I am talking about update 1.02 (11/11/09) not the trophy error update 1.01 (11/10/09)

You are not the only one. My friend is having the same issue. I can't even log onto PSN at the moment so I am trying to figure that out.

after deleting the game data utility from my ps3 I can get on my PSN network with no problems now. Its the update from what I have been reading. IW screwed up with the quick that was supposed to fix the trophy problems and the friend invite problem now they opened a whole can of worms. but you cant bypass the update if you want to play online. the dl is mandatory. but I guess the single player mode for right now then until they fix it

I just checked out PSN forums. Looks like a lot of people can't even log into PSN either. Even before installing the latest update from IW... Not that it should cause PSN log in issues

Is it possible to play 2 players from 1 system Online like Halo games? The split screen option i see is only to play by yourself etc with NO online activity. I want to play online with split screen.

i can log in to PSN, but cant play online. It gets stuck at the "Online Status" box

same thing here, thinks its been down for the last 3 or 4 hours. was playing deathmatch 1 minute, then nothing????? think its something to do with the patch they brought out this morning.....buggers

I went to game data utility on the ps3 and deleted the mw2 install and everything works fine. now just gotta wait for another update from IW to fix this issue. the latest update is actually blocking everything on the psn network from what I have found out. after deleting the update it all works like normal. just cant play MW2 online until they release another update

MW2 Server? Thought it was P2P. Guess they control match making and stats. Wont work with out that stuff.

edit: yep, could not read the tweet but a google makes it obvious that it is COD MW2'2 server fault.

mw2 is p2p. I have been in matches where the host leaves and it finds a new host and migrates all the files to them for the rest of that match. a temp 30 sec interruption rather than closing the whole game session. what they control is the matchmaking system. A lot better than in the first one. at least they are admitting that they messed up.
