Well I'm sure most of you already know this, but it wasn't posted here and I'm sure some people are still unaware so here goes.

So you can customize your clan tag with special symbols just like in CoD4.. First off I don't credit for finding it (because I didn't).

You're gonna need:
A USB stick
A computer w/ a hex editor
&
MW2 (duh)

There are really 2 methods to doing this but many people were saying the first didn't work so I'll just post the one that is confirmed working.

ATTN: N00B FRIENDLY

Here goes:
First:Put your USB stick into your PS3 and scroll over to the "Saved Data Utility" icon and hit X. Scroll down to your MW2 gamesave and hit Triangle. Hit copy and then select to save in your USB stick.
Second (editing the MOTD):After it is done copying the file, remove your USB stick and take it to your computer and stick it in. Open the removable drive and then open the "PS3" folder. Then open the "SAVEDATA" folder. Then open the "BLUS30377-AUTO-" folder. Inside you should see 7 things.. But we're only interested in the GPAD0_MP file.. Open that file with your hex editor. You should see a line that says "Welcome to Modern Warfare 2". That is your MOTD (Message of the Day). You can change this to whatever you would like but it doesn't matter if you do
Third (editing the clan tag):The next 4 letters/symbols you see after the MOTD is your clan tag. Feel free to change this to whatever you would like as long as you don't exceed 4 letters/symbols.

Here are some symbols you can play with
ƒ,,†,‡,ˆ,‰,Š,‹,Œ,.,Ž,‘,’,“,”,•,–,—,˜,™,š,›,œ,ž ,Ÿ,¡ ,¢,£,¤,¥,¦,§,¨,©,ª,«,¬,,®,¯,°,±,²,³,´,µ,¶,·,¸,¹,º, »,¼,½,¾,¿,☼.
Just copy and paste any combination of 4.

Last (putting back on PS3):Now just hit save and safely remove your drive before you pull it out. Now put your USB stick back in your PS3 and navigate back the the Saved Data Utility menu. Click your USB stick and go down to the edited MW2 gamesave. Hit triangle and the hit copy. It will ask to overwrite, just agree. Now go online and you should see your newly edited clan tag :)

So pretty much the same exact way it was done on CoD4. Just thought I'd refresh everyone's minds and maybe inform some newcomers.

Thanks to Nextgenboards for the list of symbols.

I remember doing some funky symbols for my clan tag in COD4, but I did it through a keyboard and the German Locale for my PS3's keyboard settings. Couldn't you just do the same for this one?

BTW, it was [¾£¾], and I used the Alt key with a combination of keystrokes from the number pad.

I'm not sure if that works with this game or not.. Nobody I know has tried it and I don't had a USB keyboard :/

If you try and it works though, let us know :)

This can also be used to hack single player progress and spec ops progress. Google that and you will see.
