Okay so I have an open nat type on MW2 but my nat type is still 3 on network settings and I can't connect to some people when playing online, but I can host lobbys and games in MW2. I need help getting nat type 2 or 1 ( so I can connect to people, or if I can connect to EVERYBODY with nat type 3, how so?), I use wireless so I doubt I can get nat type 1 so if you can help me getting 2 I will be very greatful.

Using WIFI, you need Nat Type 2. You are going to have to set your PS3 up with a static IP and Port Forward a few ports on your WIFI router. http://www.pregamelobby.com/forum/sony-r...t-your-ps3.html

You can also do the DMZ thing. There is a walkthrough on this sight.

I already set myself up with a static IP and I opened 9 ports, that's how I went from strict to open nat, but I'm still nat type 3 and can't connect to people, it just allowed me to host

Check the Universal Plug n Play setting in your router. Make sure it is enabled. This should give you NAT tpye 2.
