hi there people,
im tryin to get ps1 & 2 back ups to run on my ps3 by using the open the ps3 & swap disk method.
first game i tryed was scarface, it loaded up but it hung at the the very first bit that boots up saying stuff about the game rating n w/e, resetted the gane serval times but nothin.
then i tryed a ps1 game, the first 1 was metal gear solid, downloaded & burnt with alcohol 120% on the play station setting & on the slowest speed witch was 8x i think.
done the swap & it hung at the ps1 piracy warning bit with the blue writing. so i thought maybe it was the dodgy torrents i downloaded.
so i tryed rom hustler, i downloaded destrustion derby 2, burnt to disk, but this time it never loaded anything, not even the ps logo u normaly see.
could this be my disks?
should i backup a normal ps1 game & burn it to disk & see if it works?
